Datex Property Solutions is proud to announce it has successfully completed the System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 audit in recognition of its unwavering commitment to information security.
Developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls) defines criteria for managing customer data based on “trust service principles” — security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
A SOC 2 examination provides organizations with a report detailing an organization’s internal controls and how it protects customer data and sensitive information. It serves as the gold standard for data security among digital companies and software solutions in the U.S.
An independent auditor conducted the detailed examination of Datex Property Solutions’ technical environment, systems, and processes. Through this rigorous process, Datex demonstrated the sound design of its data security, infrastructure availability, and data confidentiality standards developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
To earn its SOC 2 Type I certification, Datex completed a comprehensive review of its corporate systems, validating the following key milestones:
Rigorous Assessment of Controls: Verification of the baseline design of technical security measures protecting corporate networks, production infrastructure, and client environments.
Formalization of Standard Security Policies: Defined and implemented strict internal policies—spanning data protection, risk management, and formal change management lifecycle workflows—to ensure continued protection for customers and employees.
Structured Access Control Mechanisms: Established validated multi-factor authentication (MFA) requirements and logical data separation layers to safeguard sensitive customer information.
Datex Property Solutions is excited to continue its data protection practices and looks forward to maintaining these high standards over time.
